Alexandra Daini–Brando is an award winning artist, an Art Clay Senior Instructor, and is PMC certified.
After living in South Florida for 21 years, she recently moved to Ontario where she has her studio and home schools her son.
She was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up in family of artists, taking her first art lessons from her father, the sculptor Hugo Daini.
She graduated as a Graphic Designer in Milan, Italy.
Her artistic career started as a graphic artist; later on she explored fused glass and clay, and finally found her real passion in silver jewelry. In 2004 she incorporated silver clay to her work.
Alexandra teaches Silver Clay workshops as a guest teacher at the Harvard University’s Ceramic program, and certification and introductory classes at her studio.
Her designs are deeply influenced by her formation as a designer, by the nature around her, and by her memories of Florida.
