Conference Presentation Overview: The Art of Critique
The act of critique is a complex art in itself. It can be a useful tool for your own personal growth.
"One can have no smaller or greater mastery than mastery of oneself." – Leonardo Da Vinci
Critique is more than a definition in a dictionary. Critique has function, form and effect that are bigger then the meaning of the word. It helps to improve, explain and develop conceptual growth of ideas. An artist can experience firsthand how his/her work is perceived by the public. It is an opportunity to utilize one’s peers for gaining advice on reaching one’s goal of making successful work. By taking some steps to be prepared and remaining confident, yet open minded, the critique process can be less painful, whether giving or accepting.
Be apart of this lecture as we explore the "Art of Critique".
