Conference Presentation Overview: The Marriage of Silver & Copper Clays
Now that we have copper clays as well as silver clays it only seems a small step to combining them in the same piece. Early experiments suggested either the silver or the copper had to be fired first before adding the second metal clay. After extensive experimentation, I have found a reliable and easy method for combining the silver and copper in the clay state and firing them together to create a variety of effects. This session will give you all the tools you need to try this exciting new technique on your own.
